I just had a run where the emote platforms had no effect on the boss. I would not like to try that again... so no testing for confirmation.

What happened was my friend Rolocoaster invited me to finish off the boss, I guess his party ditched or something but I joined. I then invited Ghost and he joined. While we waited for him to reach us at the entrance, someone opened the chest nearest to the boss. And I realized, there were 6 enemies remaining, it was that room before the bonus room for an Op to open.

It worked once, we were in perfect formation. There were only 4 of us and we each went to a different platform without any confusion. The next time we try, it stopped working. He still has his shield up, he doesn't faint.

We still had no trouble killing him but we lost an advantage because of this bug or glitch.
