Umm, well, maybe you could start by actually reading the first post in the thread by Sam, which in it, very clearly answers the question, "How do I become a Star Guard," with 5 very clear bullet points.

+1 to me for helpfulness, -1 for sarcasm. It's a wash.

How do I become a Star Guard? Star Guard are selected by the staff of Spacetime Studios and have generally contributed to the play community in some or all of the following ways:

• Providing useful and constructive feedback to both players and Spacetime Studios developers.

• Helping to keep the game forums clean and friendly by reporting inappropriate posts and attempting to diffuse arguments or flame wars.

• Helping to other users on the Spacetime Support Website at http://support.spacetimestudios.com.

• Fostering community development through player run events, good will, etc.

• Being visible, helpful, and constructive.
