Question about mage curse skill

I noticed in curse are 2 upgrades about damage. One debuff enemy damage by 10% for time of curse and second making enemy taking 15% more damage during curse. Does they affect each other? If i upgrade them both does ut mean if enemy have reduced damage by my curse he also taking back less damage? I'm really confused about this skill.

One amplifies the damage reflected back.

The other decreases damage dealt out by the opponent.

Yes but does they affect each other ? If i decrease damage of enemy then also reflected damage will be lowered ?

Ofc, since they deal less damage the damage reflected is lowered v_v

Sorcerer curse skill needs a re-look at it is not doing enough to be use, the new map boss and mage curse skill does a better job .. i believe this was mentioned by some other people as well on another thread on this skill ..

Bro didnt you hear? Curse is op dot skill now, i personally am going map all 4 skill slots to it / master it and use nothing else...look how much damage over time i dont do.

No bro im just joking. Its nott dot none of the enemy in pve curse is dot, ppl are just confused is all, shaman pakuna has poison totems "dot" and opens fissures in the ground, the fissures dot and curse. Sorrax has an aoe attack that does dmg as well as curse and likely when you are effected by it you have him under dot or are relentlessly attacking so yeah thats bad. And last but not least mages in sumberholt curse doesnt deal damage, Krax pools deal dot and curse as well but its not the curse that deals damage, unless your silly enough to attack or have applied dott then get cursed, that = death. Reflect spells vs. Dmg over time spells big difference.

Got what you meant..shaman pakun does both curse and DOT (poison logo i see on my toon) thus we die easily unless we have shield on before... Curse on sorcerer mob skill is not DOT thus is not lethal nor damaging unless someone attack DOT when curse is cast (bad for mage as both FB / ICE are DOT) instant death....

symia will be good pet to remove DOT but this pet almost non existent!

So i guess this skill still sucks for me at least back to the same problem that raised earlier ...
