Hmmm....I'm not a fan of the whole 'pets for everyone' idea, I'd much rather have a specialised pet class. But if pets end up being for everyone? Then yeah, but I'm not sure how likely that would be in PL

mmmmm, im not sure about mounts, i see no need for mounts in this game, mounts are used for travelling, this game isnt open world, it would be pointless imo, just something nice to look at
better if pets were combat orientated

Definitely, I think if everyone gets to have one it kinda takes the magic out of it. Also you could give the petclass mez/charm/fear or whatever juicy crowd control elements have been missed so far, then we can be ready for some hardcore dungeons :-)
P.S. Before mez we'd need Transitive Targeting (or assist at least) ;-)
