    Default Are Bows less desirable, underpowered at end game?

    This may be an obvious question, but are Bows pretty much unpopular and irrelevant at END GAME now?
    Most rogues now carry daggers for the obvious reasons, they grant more armor, stronger skill damage and on our character stat page it shows a higher raw damage and DPS, making rogues APPEAR to deal more damage on basic attacks.

    Bows do not grant higher armor stats and the 200% damage bonus is not displayed on the stat screen, which really doesn't show their real basic damage potential. And they have lower skill damage than daggers.

    So what do you prefer? Could Bows be more balanced compared to daggers or do they seem to be just right?
    Should the Bows real basic damage be showed on stat screen?

    If you don't use a bow what are the reasons?

    I believe just from the nature of the game that if the true basic damage displayed on the stat screen they would be far more popular. Just like I think when STS fixes the warrior Duskbringer weapon to show the extra 30% damage on the stat screen those will be more popular as well.

    Your Bow opinion?

    I believe aimed shot damage will be better if using dagger than bow, that auto attack damage isn't that powerful IMO.

    Correct, all skill based attacks like aimed shot, have higher damage when using daggers. The advantage of a bow is 200% normal attack damage and you can keep distance from mobs. Skill attacks are lower but normal attacks are much higher with bow.

    Because the true damage of a bow is not shown in stats, I think players are not as interested and probably the armor issue as well.

    I'm not sure about better damage output from both weapon. But, i love using legend bow because the proc. 3 arrow.

    I only use bows specially the dusk bows in lower lv maps... saves pots.. haha

    but in graveyard and mauso.. im more comfortable using daggers... coz daggers attacks faster than bow imo... and I like to be closer with mobs... haha

    and if use drag blades... the sight of mobs ''dancing''... :b

    Same here, I use bow with movement speed awake for running low lvl maps and low elites but I use immo bow for mausoleum boss and event boss

    Bows popularity vanished when sts changed how all weapons works above level 47 bracket, before all rogue's used bow's for range advantage and huge damage output both on skill and basic attacks. But now everyone shifted to daggers becoz of high damage output for skills high dps and armor.

    IMO bows have its place in endgame. Basic attack is doing 3k damage around ( non charged ) while stat damage is 1.6k
    I like 3 arrow stun especially when mages are surrounded by group, they Still get stunned. Its player gamestyle preference to use bow or daggers

    Personally i find bow essential for me when fighting maus 3/4 bosses with no tank. I also use bow when i meet the hellboss(volyrian?¿)in maus3/4

    Bows are good for boss with high damage and to save pots in easy farm places (3 arrows is nice ).

    I dont play endgame but imo it all depends on preference stats and build. From a pvp standpoint most rogues cant survive in the middle of a clash so i find it much easier with a bow to play outside of the clash and the charged stun from regular attack seems way more effective then blades.

    it changes at end game i use to love bows, but the stats and damge from skill u can just not pass it by

    The feedback here is good! Thx guys and gals! I just wonder if Bows TRUE damage was shown on our stat screen would daggers be used less??
    Same goes for mage guns, they are also stronger than their stats would imply but because staffs display a higher damage, players use the staff, and the daggers in this case more.

    It seems that Bows and Guns damage is a bit misleading atm, causing them to seem less powerful and therefore less desirable. I know a lot of players simply look at damage values instead of actual damage throughput while in play running a map.

    To be clear there is true damage shown of bows and guns, we are talking about basic attack damage ( normal non charged and charged attack ). Daggers/staff Stat and skill damage is bigger because we need to come closer to enemy to fight and do any damage ( yes we still are talking about normal attack ) so its also easier to die. You deal more skill damage and have better stat damage but you risk getting killed more often due to red zones and other effects ( curse and aimed shot are good examples here ). If you choose bow you have less armor but you can stay back and use skills more effective because you don't really risk that you'll die by aimed, curse or any other red zone/effect. Bow also shots 2/3 arrows. From what i noticed charged attack always stuns mobs and it deals very good damage ( normal attack ). Keep in mind bows and guns have 200% basic attack damage than daggers and staff. In my opinion in bow case that proc pays off lost damage in stat and in skill. By the way skill damage isn't really that big atleast in nox poison and trap bleed.

    in AL atm..mages staff and gun...Staff is stronger in this update
    warrior..bug single swords are stronger then bulwarks
    and rouges...the daggers are stronger then bows.

    in each expansion, different weapons take precedence. last cap rifles were great :/

    Imo a description in bow's/gun's info page would be nice, saying 200% auto attack dmg.
