The auction house NEEDS these features!

Hey guys! I think the auction house needs a bit of improvments ?

1.Alright, First of all, I would love to see a feature where viewing an item would show how will it affect your stats(like when equiping gear in your inventory) to see which gear is good or bad without actually having to buy it. This feature will help alot of people with buying new gear from the cs without having to need to ask people which gear is better!

2.Now, In im opinion, I think the "Usable Only" Check must be changed to showing only items from your class and not items for your level, this would be helpful if someone wants to check out gear higher than their level to buy for the future or even gear for them to buy now without having to go through the gear that belongs to other classes. (Ofcourse we can use the min/max level thing to restrict levels if we want for a specific level)

3.Maybe adding a new check to only display items that are affordable? Like what if someone wants to buy a new vanity set in their budget so they dont need to go through the vanity they cant buy

4.(THIS IS MORE LIKE A BUG THAN A FEATURE) Remove the "Vanity" rarity while going through items in the gear section. Im sure there wont be gear that would have "vanity" rarity so please remove it as Vanities now have their own section

1. Looks Good.
2. Its better to have usable only so that ppl wont mess up buying wrong things thinking it as its of their particular level n waste their gold coz it aint so difficult to check on to the gears of particular level.
3. R u referring to a an additional window to enter the price(Budget) which someone can afford ?
4. Doesn't bother much.


In addition i would also like to add up a suggestion of adding a option as "Make an Offer" so that players who would like to buy an particular item but seems bit high priced where he/she can make an offer to the seller instead of sending frnd request n waiting for the player to come online n start bargaining n discussing about how much gold he has n whats his/her maximum price...... phewwww... such a long process... instead "Make an Offer" makes it simple like example....

Player A has listed X item for 100K.
Player B wants to buy X but, doesn't have sufficient gold to buy it but has only 85K but, he doesn't know who A is n is offline. now he can click on "Make an Offer" & enter his price as 85K along with an item of 15K to make it to 100K or add up an item that's equal to the price of the listed item n can wait if the A accepts it after looking at the offer. Now player can check his offer status in a separate section in CS next to "My Sales" section adding up "Offers" with sub sections in it like.

Accepted :- Where player gets the item which had offered for Gold or items.
Rejected :- Where player's Offer has been rejected n gets back what he had offered.

I think this option would reduce the posts n threads in AL traders market though but, would help those who aren't so interested in forums.

I read "Now player can check his offer status in a separate section in CS", Ceuidear said. No massages.
I've read a similar idea in these forums not long ago - for bids in auction, like ebay. I personally support any of those ideas.
Besides, in traders forums most posts are for pretty expensive items. But not everyone sells stuff for millions. Also, in forum you have to write and read messages, wait for the other to be online... The process can be simpler.

5. The name of the seller must be clickable and theres an option to message or add friend so that you can give other offers instead of gold or lower price for it

Perhaps, when listing, you could have the option of "Accept Offers"

If you list with Accept Offers enabled (for a higher listing fee of course), you could get offers; otherwise, no offers will be accepted and you won't get spammed.


Another idea is a reverse auction listing. Basically, you list what you want to purchase, and players list their price for the item. Similar to Accept Offers, you will have a list of prices/offers and you can either pick the lowest price overall or from friend/guildie.

A reverse auction listing would certainly help prevent the switch-a-roo and other scams. If nothing else, it hopefully will reduce all the merch threads that clog up the forum.
