Winter Village plat bug?

In the past you could enter the winter village map 1 : Winter Festival for free.

This allowed all players to enjoy the winter event and farm, complete the quest "resque 907" to be awarded wings.

It was Winter village map 2 : Toy factory that costed 2 plat each time, after killing the boss, to enter this map again.

But this year players can not enter the Winter Village for free, you have to pay 2 plat to farm any maps.

Is there any way to make map 1 available to all players so they can enjoy this winter event as well?

This year all players who do not have plat can only get the first quest : gold antennas after talking to the Towne Crier and finding Dash R. They can not farm any winter maps at all.

It has always been that you need 2 plat for joining/hosting Winter Village, just that after defeating boss/clearing stage, you keep your elixir. Defeating Toy Man will clear your elixir.

Your right access was 4 hours map 1 continous farming.

Map 2, toy man had the better drops, 2 plat each time you killed him.

I have a friend who's very disappointed in the winter event because he has no plat, I don't know how to make him feel better but farm and give him some winter items i get.
