New Campaigns & PvE
Yesterday, STS announced at the BBQ that they were going to do a 3-campaign story arc. The next expansion will include "The Shipyard", which is a springboard for these campaigns.
The story arc will introduce a new alien race. Will they be friends? Will they be enemies? We don't know.
I asked a question to the panel about adding parallel maps. They said that this really didn't work out for them the way that they had hoped. The problem in PL was that these maps were underplayed and then forgotten when the level cap was raised. There was talk about adding achievements, but I don't remember if this was a done-deal.
