How much armor is 4% damage reduction? Can it substitute munch mouth armor?

Depend the level you are playing on, at lvl 61 I think 4% is better than 228 armor, but I can't see any different of that, cause the damage achieved is just too high.

228 armor better at that bracket, no doubt. Just a simple example:

Warrior with 1000 armor * 4% = 40, not sure how the damage reduction work it is based on character armor or another complicated value.

I think that data already outdated by now, because awakening stuff and newest pets. And also it only based on level 41.

Yes, it depends on lvl. The info in link is probably still valid, but only if you are 41. At 61 more armor is needed for the same DR. And at 17-18 - less armor will make same DR.
At lvl 17-18 munch mouth's 228 armor better then 4% no argument.
