Kills do count in graveyard and mausoleum, certain elite maps also give kills. I will say that while taking my twink rogue from lv11 to 61 was easy but getting the kills to even enter my current guild that my main mage is on, it is a little frustrating.
Uploaded a proof kills do not count,at least for me never.
