Do we lose all awakened in myth weapon 58 after upgrade to level 60?

Complicated mythic weapon this season ... mythic weapon bought with token have no process and require to upgrade to a 60 weapon then process comes in to the new weapon with alot of items require to upgrade it .. 5 x scale / 5 x bar which are all very costly etc etc...

Awakening Stats will not carry over. The 61 Mythic is a different item and will have its own Awakenings.

The whole process of upgrading the weapon looks too hectic with a lot of items plus the rank needed to craft few of the ingredients to upgrade the new myth weapon.
Looks like i wasted 600 tokens buying the daggers & later got to know that the 2 elixirs(5X each needed) can only be crafted after reaching exalted rank & quest becomes available.
