So I'm thinking that drop rates are like heating or air conditioning, it's on a thermostat. I might be totally wrong but if they can measure how much gold is dropping and it's excessive then the game self regulates. I have a feeling that it's somehow zoned based on event, level, etc.

Not a hidden nerf. We are generally very up front with you guys about nerfs (like yesterday's hugthulu gold nerf) as well as the reasons why (it was bad for the economy).

It is nerfed im not getting same gold rate as used to do befor

It is not nerfed. I use 100% gold loot hex staff and lucky sometimes and pull in about 25k from 4-5. Now if I run 1-5 will make about 40k. It all depends on drop sometimes mobs drop 800g sometimes 50g. Gold skeletons drop 2k gold sometimes it's all random so I believe it's still fine, just my opinion though. I run for hours at a time so make a good profit plus loot massive and large twilight. Just be happy they dont nerf it down to 100 gold with the complaining.

Using 100% GL weapon, I am getting the same range of gold from M1-4. I get around 15-20k. Its just based on your luck, or maybe you arent getting some Treasure Rooms to add the loot of your gold.
