Depends on which set you use.
The Overlord's Warband gives you a set bonus for 2H weapons with
Derex, Intex, Strax, 50% speed bonus in towns and pve maps, and a purple halo.
The Warlord's Overband gives you a set bonus for
Darzac, Mantex, Wastax, 75% speed bonus in towns and pve maps, and a light blue halo.
THe Warlord's Prison Band gives you a set bonus with the new
Ok'Tal Molix, Xilom, Casyr, Rysac, Kyraz, Zaryz sets, even more speed bonus in towns and pve maps, and a light blue halo.
If you use these rings over the 3 piece black rings, the set bonus is significantly better.

So i should pretty much get rid of my black ring overall?
ELITE
The Black Ring of Valiant Glory has its uses still.
It gives better stats for four piece uncrafted and crafted level 80 sets.
Any four items of level 80 sets gives you the halo, speed and set bonus, (this includes the elite rings Warband and Overband for 3 piece 2H weapon sets).
The addition of the 3 piece black ring gives you more armor etc on the 4 piece sets of helm, weapon, armor and shield.

Alright then thanks im going to keep for 4pc set then get the other ring for 3pc blaster.
