New to 35-40

Wanting to try a new level. Anyone know a mage build for 35 as well as 40 mage. As well as what the setup is for 40 mage. Also may try 35/40 bear, setup/build will be greatly appreciated. Also if you have any tips Thank you

Dreamers bony fire pin(+1 dodge and same skill dmg over the conventional pin, 170k cheaper as well)
Brain freeze eye/pink doll (the head one)

Pure int

At 40 use the Ao gears, idk if they are better than hallo, haent tried

You don't need that to compete. I do fine with swamp juice or a brain freeze eye.

No, trust me, you don't need it. Sure, it's nice and technically the best. But you don't need it. Unless I'm remembering wrong, the stats on the doll and head are barely better than brainfreeze. And even then, not in every way (Brainfreeze has more regen). The same can be said about voodoo armor over halloween armor.

my understanding, there is the 2012 doll (the brown shadow doll-esque thing), with superior stats to the 2014(15?) doll, whilst looking the same. Im not 100% either.

If I remember right the 2012 halloween items were nerfed with the forgotten items and those are the weaker "nerfed dolls". Now I'm not certain not having been here for the last halloween event but I believe that the "unnerfed dolls" are from the recent 2016 event.

I thought the versions that came out in 2012 were the unnerfed versions and the nerfed ones were released the preceding years. Since 2012 is when the newer shields like evi, cage, and head came out the older versions (doll and black cat) got buffed to have the same stats. The same could also be said for chunkers because in 2011 and before all of them had a rate of fire of 1.3 then a newer version that shot faster came out in 2012.
