Do you have 100% proof they weren't? Or is this just hearsay ? Because hearsay doesn't stand up in any court... justg and his team are finally banning the scum in this game and I'm glad they are.

You dont get the point man, many player got banned because of a suspicion... Some have not done anything wrong and got banned.
I bought an glowstik egg, and I got banned ... now if their informations are missing about that trade, it leads to a ban.
How should I now defend my side, I told them everything about that trade ... but they decide if they believe or not as long as u dont have a vid or ss of that trade.
lesson learnt : always record your trades
Trust and proof aren't the same thing. You can't really speak for STS, even they make mistakes, or they wouldn't have a support email...
And, if you don't have a reason to believe our side of the views, then why should we acknowledge that your side makes any sense.. Some people did wrongly get banned, one of my best friends got banned after his friend gifted him expensive items before quitting. I'm also sure that STS is working hard on the problem, and he will be getting his account back.
You can't really expect to record every trade, merchers wouldn't have any space on AL for their phones then hahah

It's really funny how many of these threads are being made by so called legit players who are scared...why are you scared? Have you done something against tos to make you scared to lose your account?
I do a lot of trading and guess what I'm not banned so I highly doubt people are getting banned for just buying something...if that's the case why do I see people running around with arc armors and selling orbs/glows and not getting banned?

accusing ppl of something isnt nice in the first place. and yes u do not have any proof of the ppl who got banned and u cannot just call everyone who got banned out as ^cheaters^ im sure there are ppl using bugs buying igns accaunts what ever. and sts is trying to catch them in their way.
i can confirm if thats gona make u feel better that innocent ppl did get banned aswell. and unbanned after STS confirmed that they were not ^cheaters^
and someone got banned for buying a glow. if u followed some threads u will even be able to see who.
so id suggest everyone just stopps calling everyone who get banned a ^cheater^.
since u didnt get banned and cant know whats actually going on..
and yes support is working on it and we (the banned once) are waiting..

How do we know if this is "gold buying", a gift to a friend, a transfer between two accounts of the same person, a GM giving a reward to a contest winner etc.
There is simply no way to know unless STS has infiltrated some third party apps.

I just hope customer support will reply immediately for our explanation. This issue is too complicated. For me im just hoping they will not ban wrong person. I cant accept my hard work suddenly dissappear in one mistake by sts. I hope everything will be back to normal.

This is my theory on the matter,
STS perhaps notices tons of gold in an account without legit plat offers, or platinum purchases being converted to gold.
Some say 'oh I sold many X items for lots of money'. The thing is STS wants to know where you got that amount of gold to buy that many expensive X items in the first place, and also perhaps why the gold is constantly being distributed - akin to laundering.
Demographics may play a part. If mrPvptrashtalkerxyz lives in a country where income is low and yet has all the op gears, new set, tens of millions in gold and latest arcane pet, then I'm sure STS latches onto account and has it under investigation.
Personally, I'm glad STS is getting aggressive, I hope they go super saiyan and totally throw out the exploitative cheating trash.

Every step in real life or in game gets monitored, if you do smth the game automaticly creates a code, history whatever...
So if you trade smth... > there is code
Player B <trade> Glowstik Egg <Trade/> Player A <trade> 5800000gold <trade/>
something in that way, I m not a specialist for that...
if there are trades involved where a certain amount of gold comes into play it can be monitored...
now if informations of that trade are missing ... f.e. conversation between Player A to B, or Trade is not complited...
it seems wired so thats how you can get banned...
For example: you tell ur friend via whatsapp, line whatever come online I will pay u back my depts ... and u dont comunicate in game and u trade him 5m for nothing" then you can get banned because of that
