PvE Kills

So i see some people having an insane amount of kills like 600k in PvE.

How do i earn kills like that too because sometimes i my kill counter goes up and sometimes it doesn't?
Does me doing some damage count or do i have to be the one to finish it off completely? Does levels play a role? I am a rogue level 61.


Does anyone have know the mechanic?

Farm in Maps made for your level but the most likely reason his kills are so high was he used to farm km3 all day where the kills were easy and the locks plentiful

since the tombs doesnt get u any pve kills anymore id say as a 61 u dont really have a chance of getting pve kills as quick as u could get them in the wt/kt
im not sure if im 100% correct but as far as i know you get pve kills in (not sure if u get some in glint maps) underhul maps/graveyard/mausoleum/planar tombs/ elite maps in tindrin and above.
not sure if u get some in hauntled since i never ran there after getting the ap there.aswell u get kills when u do the daily story token quests..
and yes if u run any of the maps mentioned above in a pt/with randoms. u need to be the 1 who makes the last shot(kills the mob) to get the kill counted as pve kills.

I know a couple of players who will run hauntlet for a fast 69/70 pve kills per run. Seriously though, forget how many kills you got, farming elite maps will teach you a lot about your play style, pets, and team mechanics, that you dont learn running solo for pve kills.
