Fragment drop at PT3 & elite drop on normal map

I ran Planar Tombs 3 recently and was surprised to find that Taurus only dropped two Planar fragments. As I recall Taurus used to drop three fragments. Has there been a change?

Also while running normal Kraken map 4, my rogue looted an elite mind essence (the one used for trophy crafting). Is this intended now?

I also ran planar tombs 3 to help friend complete achievement and got 2 planar fragments

i think it was 2 frags and two drops in pt3,if i recall correctly .

It has always been 2 frags and 2 loot drops.
