Question About Crate Keys & Opening locks! - How many keys does it cost to open diff crates?

So I was thinking about wether its worth opening locks with crate keys or not. As I have never opened locks with keys before I have a few questions. First up How many keys does it take to open different types of locks for example it costs 15 plats for the new Glintergoblin crates whereas the twilight crates only cost 5 plats to open. So I was curious if you open with keys wether it costs you that same amount it would cost with plats but just in key currency OR it would cost you something like 1 key for Twilight crates & 3 keys for Glintergoblin Crates. Really curious about this & would appreciate it if someone could make this topic clear XD

Consider crate keys as tradeable plat packs. Meaning the same amount of plat it would take to open a lock using plat, the same amount of keys are needed to open a lock (can only use it to open locks so far).
Regarding opening locks with keys I'd say it just depends on how lucky you are when you open locks.
My experience with opening locks with keys is that I've had good days and bad days, same as opening with plat. There will always be the temptation to open some locks with key crates but I'd rather have a more stable profit by selling them rather than gambling with them.

    Hope this helps a bit

once you open the crate key box you get 50 keys, now normal twilight have decent loot and no arcanes but massives got better loot, i think you shud open massive glintergoblin cuz u can loot speed set items which are worth a lot, wish you all the best with opening or selling and yea 1 key=1 plat in relation to opening locks. so 50 keys is same as 50 plat but ONLY FOR OPENING LOCKS

1 key= 1 plat. Normal locked cost 5, large 10 and massive 15. Event lockeds are always massive.

I think you should NOT open with keys. Even if you open with platinum, you tend to lose gold. So if you open with keys, you'll lose multiple times more gold. It's just not worth it.

Thanks for all the info guys so from what I understand 1 key is equivalent to 1 platinum. So I think I am better of selling my crate keys. Anyway thanks for all the replies & can a mod close this thread thx.
