Droid Chrome Event in Star Legends - This Week Only - Get a Jetpack!

Log in now to Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles to take part in our week long Google Chrome Event!

Collect all three colored jetpacks (Yellow, Red and Green) and turn them in to the Droid on the main deck of the UCS Blackstar for a large, silver and black jetpack! Look for more information from Spacetime Studios and Google at the Game Developer's Conference that is happening this week.

Based on player feedback from previous events, there are now three different ways you can take part:

1. Wave at Red Named Droids - 1. Several Droids wearing jetpacks will be running around in the world at random times over the next week. The Droids will always be wearing one of the jetpacks (Yellow/Red/Green). If you wave in the vicinity of the Droid and do not already have the jetpack Android is wearing, you will get one as a vanity back item which will be equipped.
2. Loot from Bosses - Director Bot in Slouch-O Productions and the Guardian in Numa Prime, have a chance to drop the three colored (Yellow, Red and Green) jetpacks as loot (which are tradeable).
3. Quests - 3. There are three quests which can be acquired from the Droid NPCs on the main deck of the UCS Blackstar. Complete the quests to obtain the colored jetpacks.

The black and silver jetpack reward grants a speed boost only during the week of the event.

Does the silver jetpack grant you plus 20 percent of speed for forever or only for this week? By the way: This is a really cool eventDDDD

Point is that Droids aren't guaranteed to show up when you're on. Quests give you a guaranteed jet pack. See what STS did? Yup.

Yeah, but you have to have some decent luck to find the Red Droid and wave. Whatever way you want to do it, you can.

As per the announcement at http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?39406, the Silver Jetpack that can be purchased via the in-game store will only give out the 20% speed boost and the Silver Antennas when you wave during this week only!
