    Default Do mages need a buff in order to survive in PvP?

    The death rate for mages is incredibly high in PvP. Can't even last 2min without a rouge spawn killing me or 1 combo me.(yes I'm fully jeweled )(or maybe im that bad at pvp)
    If Sts says everything is balance already with each character I want to see them play as mage in PvP to see the trouble mages go in order to survive.

    What are your thoughts?

    My thoughts is they must nerf pvp damage 50% again.

    I honestly believe its specific to the players play style. When im on my mage i last atleast 5x longer than on my rogue, and i have the best gear and jewels on her, unlike my mage that has trash jewels and gear. You got to find your grove your mojo.

    Its true that mage shield breaks really fast against rogues but its kinda understandable since mages were never designed to go head on head against rogues. They are more of a support class and thats when teamwork comes in relying on other classes to survive. But sts really need to balance pvp throughout all levels regardless of whether they are active or not.

    This. Mages are supposed to be a support class, with still very viable skills to do multiple kills on enemies. I started PVP just this season so i really have no idea what mages can do seasons before. But in my opinion, mages served its purpose in this game PVP wise. And i personally like it. Being able to support your teammates. I just got my SS fully upgraded and im still finding a way how to use it effectively. But i still want my role in a clash to remain, providing support to your teammates.

    Warrior class=Go frontline , dont die, give cover to other to classes(warrior not meant to kill)
    Rogue=Kill with high damaging low cd skills(not meant to survive long without warrior)
    Mage=Support class, provide mana and do normal decent damage(not meant to survive too long without warrior but longer then a rogue)
    In my opinion the game is already balanced. Just my thoughts though

    imo mages playing style is too predictable by anyone i mean really?
    1)mages charge sheild and dont die for 2 sec
    2)mages try to land combo's
    3)mages are dead after rogue uses ribbit and this process keeps repeating if both mage and rog are equal skill and gears

    since u missed the point here lemme clear it up, now there is a mage, he/she charges sheild and rog runs away after some time the rog returns aims,nox's and what not, mage does not have a nekro so he dies, now ur gonna say that the mage has to stun the rog and then combo, yes thats true but problem is everyone knows what the mage is goin to do so umm well rog with skill can aim when the fireball is not charged yes? and something is missing forgot what i was gonna say........

    Lol I've seen mages more tanky than most warriors XD, I say games balance is good but some rogues have insane crits lol

    I have a full geared mage and let me tell that mage is not a solo player. Mage class works best in teams so if u dont like being support and hitting hard from behind the tanks and rogues u better switch classes. Maybe try rogue.

    Yea I'm planning on switching to rouge. So I can just spawn kill and 1 combo mages to think I'm pro 😛(kidding)

    I like mage, since cap 41 I've been playing solo and never swapped from Char.. It's hard to play mage with those speedsets and since enchanted eyes are gone it also hard to get perfect ordered stats, but even if u don't have all this, teamplay as Redjellydonut said before is a very good opportunity as a mage. Tho solo is possible. But it Requires lots of practise and patience.

    Believe it and you can achieve it!
