Guild halls should have message posting boards so information can be shared. Also, there should be a poll function, where members can vote on things, like new guild halls.
There should be guild "banks," an accOunt guild members can place, but not withdraw, platinum. Only the guild master would have control, and the platinum would have to be spent on guild-wide items (eg a guild hall).
There should also be more things to buy for guilds. For example, a guild may require members to wear a certain piece of vanity armor. The guild should be able to get these items at a discounted price and with varying sizes of orders and discounts (eg 10 antennae saving 5 credits and 100 antennae saving 75 credits [not necessarily such large discounts, just an example]). On the same idea, guilds should be able to design a logo which would appear on their armor somewhere or a color scheme.

Giving someone control of other people's platinum, which is theoretically real money, isn't a very...safe...idea. People can't be trusted and some people are too trusting and would inevitably get scammed by their 'guild leaders.'

Guilds can have message boards, you just have to make one yourself. Forumotion.com is a good starting place for your basic forum, at least that's what I can tell from some other guild forums.

The idea of custom colored armor or badges is possible, but I personally don't see it as being that probable. Considering a lot of people play on their mobile phones, seeing such a badge would be hard and would kind of defeat the purpose. Also, creating custom armor that differs enough from other guilds will be nearly impossible since new guilds pop up every day, adding to the hundreds I'm sure we already have.

Overall, some good ideas, but they either seem unlikely to be at the top of STS's 'to-do' list or could cause too many issues.

All of these idea's have been mentioned and suggested in the past, can easily be searched via search bar.

Except the Plat idea (As far as im aware, which as Kahlua rightly said this wouldn't be the safest option, and would go against the tradable side of STS's procedures, people would easliy use this to their own advantage 'not guilds benefit'.

Another possibility for the message Boards would be Groups on this very forum!

What about having a tabard like in WoW. Instead maybe have a chest insignia. And once a member you go to a terminal and pay a small amount to have one for your self. Each guild could choose or create their own by uploading an image or something along those lines.

I still think there should be a spot between officer and master... a general or gm... someone second in charge able to set recruiters
