Quest question

I've been doing the premium maps, using the swamp elixir, and it says 3x quest completion what does this mean? I haven't been advancing on the first quest from riksa while I'm doing the swamps, does this mean I have to clear quests until I get to the certain quest that the elixir would work and give me 3x the advancement? I've been killing oktal xar , but stuck at 0 orbs

And when it saysb3x quest rewards it means there's three bosses, not that each boss drops 3 of them at a time
