Gold Guide! [Preferably for Endgame!]

This is my first time doing a guide, feel free to criticize constructively :)
I earn my gold differently from others, feel free to add some other tips and i'll include on this post!

I.FARMING
a. ELITE GOLDEN CHESTS
There are three chests (from what I know) that earn the most gold: Elite Golden Pirate Chests, Elite Golden Warchests
and Elite Golden Dragonscale Chests.
Personally I farm Elite Golden Warchests (thanks to a fellow guildie Methuthuyoupi), and I farm at Elite Oltgar Keep.
The locations in which these chests are found are Elite Kraken Isles, Elite Nordr and Elite Tindirin and they sell for an
average of 10k. Best to farm them with luck elixir/lepre/hisha and you must be patient when farming, their drop rates
aren't as high but they don't not drop. PATIENCE IS KEY.
People buy this in cs because of what they contain,( Elite Golden Pirates drop Hooks, Warchests drop Maul, Drag Shard (?) )
*There is also a daily quest from the Olde Yodeler that grants you an Elite Golden Warchest!


b. DRAGKIN TEETH
As of now, I am currently farming teeth. The best thing to buy from the tooth vendor are dragonite bars.
It is the most profitable thing you can buy from the vendor and they go from 200k-300k!
You can farm them at Elite Tindirin, preferably in Wilds,Magma Corridor, Rockhorn Summit (Rendtail can also drop parch!)
*You can also buy Sack of Dragkin Teeth for 30 Teeth and they cost around 30k+ in auc!

c. LOCKED TWILIGHT CRATES
As of the current expansion, the loot-able crates at the moment are locked twilight crates and they sell for about 5-7k
Best places to farm are Normal Windmoore Harbor, Southern Seas ( for some) and Normal Undim Fields.
*Tip for Undim Fields, just keep heading straight to find Krom!
Best to use lepre/luck elixir/hisha!

d. PLANAR TOMBS
This is one of the best places to farm especially during endgame.
If you run Planar Tomb 2 a ton of times + get the planar daily you'll be able to purchase/craft a couple things.
Each time you run tomb 2 and kill the boss you'll be able to get 2 Planar Fragments with these fragments you'll be able to
purchase either planarite ingots (100 fragments, total of 50 runs about 150-200k in cs) or breeze egg (125 fragments, total
of 63 runs about 200k in cs)
In addition, if you continuously do planar dailies (10 Planar Essence a day) you will be able to craft 1 Planar Fragment.
They are rather cheap in auc so I open them hehe

e. GOLD
As always, people also like farming their gold in specific maps such as Somberholt and Elite Underhul.
I personally run Somberholt with 100% Gold Loot and come out with about 10K after running Grave-Maus 4.
Somberholt is best to run at level 61 but if you feel op and you think you can handle the enemies go ahead.
While that's going on, you also get Balanced Tokens and with this you can buy a couple things from the vendor such as
balanced bars (not too sure how much they cost but are around 500-800 tokens) and coffers (2-12 tokens depending on
rarity) and if you run maus 3-6 you can get some sick loot like symia and massive locks!! I find maus really fun lol
Moving on to Elite Underhul, personally I don't really like farming here cause the mobs are kinda op for me and I get bored
but if you have a great party and proper gear you should be fine.
The gold each run for Elite Underhul range from 1-2k but with 100% Gold Loot it should be higher :)
You can also get elite mob aps and elite boss aps and if you enjoy artifact running you can finish your quests too!

f. ARTIFACT
Hooray! New system but I personally don't pay as much attention to it compared to other people so yeahh ahha
Anyways, after you've received ruined tokens after turning in your hourly and daily quests and enter the dungeon
keep killing the mobs (Maus type mobs) and go ahead and kill Arturas, you have a chance of Magna Fragments and common
artifacts. The highest selling artifact I believe is Alacrity but Sagacity and Int one :p are about 70k-80k.
Victus fragments only drop for toons level 30 and lower I believe
The one thing I find weird though is that the runes (you can turn in 25 Magna Frags for 1 Magna Rune or 25 Victus Frags
for 1 Victus Rune ) they cost around 100k last I heard or maybe even higher :)))


g. CRYOSTAR COINS, GLINTSTONE COINS,ORC TAGS
- Cryostar Coins drop in Elite Glintstone!
With this you can buy a Sack of Cryostar Coins for (will update once I find out HAHA but I think 110)
They sell for about 20k-30k!
*You can also buy extra inventory and stash slots for yourselves for 75 coins!
- Glintstone Coins drop in Normal Glintstone
Also sell for about 20k-30k and you can buy inventory/stash slots for 300 coins
- Orc Tags drop from Orc Shaman Effigies and you can get them as a reward for doing quests in Garetta
You can buy invent and stash slots for yourselves and the recipe for Stampy Egg Chest for 250 Tags!

h. CRYO HUNTER LIX AND NORTHAL LIX
In Glintstone you will be able to find a vendor who sells a Cryostar Hunter Elixir for 8 Platinum.
In Garetta Village you will be able to find a vendor near the Camella the Beastmaster selling a similar elixir for 8 plat but only
for Elite Northal!
These elixirs go for about 50-60k in cs. With these elixirs you will be able to farm for vanities or recipes from either Elite
Cryostar or Elite Northal. (Clarifications, Cryostar Hunter Elixir for Elite Cryo and Northal Elixir for Elite Northal in case anyone
does anything weird and does in reverse hehe)
*Best chances of drops are at Elite maps but they are not guaranteed so not the most profitable thing ever.

II.MERCHING
Merching is probably the most popular way of earning gold as of now, but personally I don't earn as much from it because
a. I'm scared of losing gold because prizes and values fluctuate a lot right now!!
b. People hate merchants
c. ^ No one sells
But the basic philosophy of merching is buying items for cheap and selling them for higher than what you originally bought them for.
Here are a few tips for beginners:
- Start small, so things like Awakening Gems should do the trick
- When you shout in towns, try to avoid saying cheap but also try including cheap so people dont yell at you (;))
- Best places for me are Garetta Village, Paradise Pier and Expedition Camp ( try to avoid camp cause it's pro town)
- Always make the seller offer first and work from there.
- Offer low, but reasonable.
*Some good items to merch are Awakening gems, Artifacts (give 'em a go), Eggs, Locks (not really but you can upgrade them to
massive and get 60k-70k from that), Vanities.
- Avoid merching PvP Items unless you are a pvp player and you know your values well.

III. Not the best, but QUESTS
People don't often rely on quests for gold but there is a weekly quest from a guy in Windmoore that gives you 7.8k! So boom gold
Look for quests to do so you can earn yourselves some pocket gold for maybe feeding your pets (not really recommended) or for pots

IV. FOR PLAT USERS
-If you are a frequent plat user and you buy yourselves a hefty amount of plat, go pop open some massive locks or event exclusive
locks but keep in mind that it is a huge gamble and you aren't always guaranteed good loot.
- Buy event-only items so when there are double ankh offer so 50 Ankhs for 30 plat, go buy some of those and wait till they rise up
in price :))
- During events, go buy energy kits they sell pretty well
- Buy Elite Awakening Gems for 5 plat each, as of now they sell for about 18k or 19k but once more items can get awakened, they will
be around 23k+

That's all I could think of as of now, if you guys have any other ways to earn gold I could include them into this guide! Just be patient when earning gold. You can really be super rich over night, it's all about hard work and dedication! I'd like to thank my guildies from The Collective and a couple YouTubers for these tips! Good luck everyone!
