Yes as u might have seen me at lvl 26 I use the same exact build many other people use but yet my kdr is 5:1 How? its all on the style of play and ur aspect of pvp at that lvl.....but here goes my build...ill gurrentee u wont have more than a2:1......as of i have a 5:1

Throw a heal or so as needed, but if they don't dodge or some how, you miss, it should kill them. My 2 cents.

for ring use dex ring with +10 dmg and critic or dodge
for skill:

heal-1
mana shield-1
lightning is useless cause its only 8m range better to use 12m range skills and buffs dont need to be max
combos:
for bears n birds use drain fire ice
for mages use drain frost fire

okok advice try to put shield late n maintain ur 12m range n ull kill them all like me pvp twink mage "charlesangel" just started lastnight n been owning a lot n using exp in pvping in 66 mage "fruitsahke"

All I have to say about this... Is wow...
Lightning is the best skill to have if you can't afford a toyman. Not only does it have a near the best damage range, second to only drain, but it also has the fastest cool down time, and the 2nd lowest mana usage, behind frostbite. The only time the 8m becomes a problem is if you can't figure out how to use ice and rush forward.
And the buffs... I have never met any "pro" Mage that did not have 6 BOM... I agree that BOV doesn't need to be maxed, but BOM's crit/damage is very important.

btw i have 16 crit base when no buff and when buff 66 so dont really need to max out bom en em planning to get toy wand lvl 25 n the winter shield forgot the name

Eh, beating a lv35 bird and beating a lv35 twink are two different things. And I haven't been playing my 25. Besides, I have a similar build which I've been using for 8 months on it. All I was saying is that lightning is not "useless." I have used a lightning based build, and the best Mage players in 25 use this form of set up. Though I've found 25 to be insanely boring and slow, now that I've played in 30 and 35.
Anyway. I guess I can fight you if you really want, thought I'm pretty sure I'm rusty with it.

You prolly shouldnt go above 3 drain at 26. If you miss it, you're done. Heres a decent 26 build

If i were you, because you are using 25 toyman the 3rd best weapon for mages at 26 and very high dps i wpuld recommend 4 bom 6bov 1heal 3fire 1shield 1ice 5 light and 4 drain. Try it out and try nuke combo like drain-light-fire that might be effective because alot of 26 mages use drain and then heal last. Making a nuke build prime at this lvl.

Well said zapo. i would listen to zapoke. Not only is he a very good pvper at all lvls from10-35, but he is also one of the best two or three mages on his 26. Imo. And asking him to fight you is a bad choice if you like having more kills than you do deaths....

However, I've been slipping in 25 lol. Probably because I don't try to keep up anymore, and decided to just use the build that made Zapoke go from 1700-600 to 3500-900 in two weeks, hehe. Doesn't work as well anymore. (:
