For some context I stopped playing around the beginning of this expansion, and have very few light bearer points.

Well, every peoples have different opinion, I myself already inactive since 2 months ago because I have nothing to do in the game. A few days ago I tried to login back and still I don't know what I want to do.

I say yes it's time.. its 2x points event so people r running maus, u can easily get nice party to farms points for bosses vaoriyana and lich corvis aps which would be hard to get after "expansion coming in few days"
