Devs stole Thelonearcher's D'jinn Sword of Osiris

My friend Thelonearcher had an item called the D'jinn Sword of Osiris. Today he logged on and found the sword missing despite having not sold it or given it to another player or character. This item was programmed with an error that allowed it to be equipped with a shield despite being a 2 handed item, which made gave him an unfair advantage in pvp game. For this reason we suspect the developers to have taken the item and given no compensation for the money spent on the item. However, we have found another player with this same item. The developers seem to have not known about this player possessing the item which is why he still owns it even though they removed it from Thelonearcher. Please assist me and Lone in getting to devs to replace or compentsate lone for taking an item he looked and worked so hard to get.

It does sound something like this. The Dev's can search their database for the Sword on accounts, so they would be able to take em all at once. They don't need to 'hear about it' to know someone has one.

If he was hacked why wasn't anything else taken? Lone does have an incredible amount of cash and probably all of the best items. It is more likely it is just a glitch of some sort.
