Because people buy items to try it. If they don't like it they will resell it. If u can check them before you buy them, ppl won't buy those items, which means.. many many items will drop in value which eventually crash the market..

Meh, you don't understand it or can't even Read.. anyway.. weapons got procs (if I'm not wrong xD), if a proc is useless or annoying ppl won't buy it.. if u can test it before, the item will be priceless because none buys it. The market will crash because of it.

What Mohok said. There's already auction to check stats easily.
It's not about statistics, it's about how the weapon feels in the hands, the procs for example. If you could test the procs already a new weapon wouldn't be excited any longer.
Look, if we can test the new Arcane weapons, and for example the proc sux.. none will buy the wep, and the prices Will drop drasticaly (if drasticaly is even a word lol). The most ppl buy the weps because they are new and they want to try it, with the system our "brilliant" Mohok invested, this is no longer needed.. aka the fun of the excitement of buying weaps will be gone..
This whole thingy has nothing to do with the Auction...

not easy for me to decide if I'm against or not xD
On one hand testing something is good for understanding and valuate a purchase.
On the other hand in current system you ask ppl to understand if a particular item is worth or not and you learn a lot.
I wouldn't be concerned about market, that from my point of view is not predictable (if it would I would be sooooooo rich!!!) and value things not only for "strenght" but for rarity, collectability and other things I don't get at all xD.
Is there really a needing for this feature of game? Not really for me.
Is an idea that could bring bad things? Not really for me.
Could be helpful for newbies? (Pro are in good guilds and knows what is good or not just by asking. Or testing themself). Yes it is, but not that much.
In the end I think I'm against but for a totally another reason. Simplicity. There are so many different things in game that sometimes I have the feeling is getting a little complicate. I have 3 neurons, one for each thumb and the third hide himself. help the third to enjoy his life xD
