Elite journemens vanity

This vanity was released back in 2014 to only a few bit of people and it was made untradeable... I have a friend that has it and she said she doesnt even like it anymore so my question is, why not make it tradeable? I personally want the vanity myself but there is no way to get it unless sts makes it tradeable...

*sarcasm mode active* oh yes please! Lets also have the old banners tradeable too, im actually bored of the frozen savior banner (2013 winter) and would wanna sell it..so some1 can buy it and pretend to be an old player

Ok real chat. The vanity was awarded to the players who compeleted the tour of arlor..it wasnt an easy task and they earnd it, if u have the vanity being tradeable 1- the vanity wont have the same value
2- i dont think sts has the right to do it..without the approval of the player who created the contest,who dosent play anymore from what i know.
I personally managed to play only 2 weeks and wanted it..but i didnt, dosent mean i want it to be tradeable and have my friends be upset abt it :I

Sure, it would take away some what of the value but the reason i made this was for the some people who dont want it anymore and would like to sell it or something, but it would still have the same value? and the people that like it and want to keep it can no one says they have to sell it if they dont want to.

It basically doesn't have any value at all since it's not tradeable unless you count "sentimental" value

Absolutely not. This vanity was given for a real remarkable moment in AL history and even though Im sad I wasnt a player back then I dont want it to be sold for any currency. You can ofc ask sts to host another of such event but that would'nt work out too well since they are swamped with ursoth, etc already.

I too say no to this as well. I hope STS doesn't mess with hard earned Vanities like the Elite Journeyman. Same goes for all those pretty LB, Jester, Forebearer, goblin helms, colorful wings, vet shields, etc. They were hard earned/special gifts that add no advantage to the game other than looking unique. I'm in for recolors or brand new pretty vanities though. Still waiting for rogues with cat ears or mages with human girl heads just to name a few XD

Thank you for acknowledging how great that cavity is! I too, same as the proud owners above would say no to making it tradable. The vanity is from a time when elite still existed and finishing the elite maps was actually really difficult and required skill and knowledge of the game. Seeing someone with this vanity is a good way to know that you have an old player with skill.

Your "friend" does not reflect the opinions of every owner of that vanity. I'm not an owner of that vanity and I vote no.

It will be better to re conduct that event with almost same/RECOLOURED/new vanity.

That sounds nice but I doubt STS has the time for that. It would be nice to have an event like that, but not exactly recolored, maybe some kind of new vanity, (if they have the time.)

Sts don't re create events.. they just open there table drawer and look for drives labeled "Xyz" event , plugs it in edit few things and starts event..

Yeah, dont mess with past items. If anything STS should just release new content or recolor things. Absolutely no reason to re-release hard earned items like the plat tier winter banner and the plat Halloween weapons like spider queen bows again. It just undermines hard work done previously. Those items are no longer desired. The plat tier goblin banner of has the purple bubbles where as last year lb had green bubbles. Things like that is okay as its recolored. I hope blood grub vanities from Elon event this year will look different as well. There are so many different colors available I don't get why they need to be exactly the same as old versions other than they ran out of resources/time to do it.

Elite journeyman is green in color, there's also the plat purchased one that's silvery bronze and also a brown version forebearer. I'm sure there's colors of the rainbow in choices to recolor! What I don't get is why arlors never came back. Neither a gift item nor lb. Not even a slight recolor!
