Isn't it awkward that lower level items can be awakened but character should be 46?

This is intentional. When an Arcane Legend reaches Level 46 s/he gains the power to awaken items. Those items can be traded to lower-level players.

If you want your character to be able to awaken items, reach Level 46 or higher :-)

The problem is I am staying at 43 to play twink PvP. The only reason I am complaining is that I won't be levelling that character.

If i level up to use that awakenings then I have to make another level 43 to play and buy other pet which gonna be expensive. So I will go cheaper way and stay 43. No Ty.
