It's Galzyx, not galaxy, and my guess would be no. There seems to be one alien named item for each class: Galzyx staff for int, Ryylox blaster for dex, and whatever the green plasma sword is called for str (starts with a z I believe).

Smartress, I'll try to get the full Galzyx stats, but I'm pretty sure there was not much (if anything) beyond the regen and same damage/speed/armor as the other dark matter staves.

@Royce, It's "Zuraz" Plasma Sword, I believe. I got one of those today as well. Mine is level 43.

Also, here are the stats on some newly acquired legendary items:

Desert Shadow Staff of Thoth Level 41 Requires 131 INT to equip.
A darkbolt weapon!
89-105 Damage, 2.2 Speed, 8 INT, 3% crit, 8 M/s, 5 armor.

Desert Shadow Staff of Mastery Level 45 Requires 142 INT to equip.

Does anyone else have different variations of this weapon (Osiris, Isis, Horus, Thoth)? Also, I'm curious to know if there is a level 43 series of these staves.

I would like to get my hands on two of the same type of staff for level 43 and 45. I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle to upgrade a level 43 item to the 45. Just looking at the basic stats on the weapons we CAN see both of, it appears that once you have the level 43 item, the level 45 item is a mere side-grade. Are there any thoughts on this?

@Maneut, for example, the level 43 Alien Blaster and the level 45 Alien Blaster only differ as far as the base damage goes. I think it's the difference of 58-59 base damage on the level 43, and 59-60 base damage on the level 45. If the difference is something like that, and the base damage equip stats are as straightforward as they appear to be (meaning there is no damage multiplier or amplifier which could obscure the logic here), my question is, is it worth it to upgrade to the level 45 item? As I stated before, it looks like it's an expensive, minor side-grade, at best.

I'm really lazy usually, so don't get used to this. Since I found Smartress in game, and Smartress would not respond to my request for trade to confirm the stats on the following items, I'll just do things this way:

I'm quite aware that this staff looks terrible on my bow bear. See how fat it makes him look? AMG! It's the Desert Shadow Staff of Thoth, even!

Thanks, Dark Matter Staff is rare, the others I don't think they are in the same league.

Having said that, I still like Dark Matter Staff of Thoth, over Galzyx.
