I agree plat armour is best for engineers, in pvp and pve. Makes us survive longer because of our bad armour, Dodge is the only thing keeping us alive sometimes lol.
The devs need to get their prioritys sorted on engineers. Fixing custom armour/plat armour differences and buffing skills ect.

/g L40 custom looks pretty cool but its price is really too high.
It's also unusual that commando abilities are largely pink.
