Returning from a long break

Like the title says i am coming back from a longish break from PL. I wasn't able to play as I lost my ipod touch but now i have the new iphone and am excited to be able to play here again.

I have been in the game for a few days now and im seeing some pretty cool changes namely guilds and the new nuri campaign. I am a level 55 elf with a split spec between strength and intelligence and im rocking a full fury fighter set. I have a few questions like what are some of the new end game gear goals i should go for, is being a pally still worth it and lastly anyone have an open spot in their guild for me? Or if anyone just wants to briefly explain any other changes that have happened over the past few months so i dont have to wade through pages and pages of this forum.

First welcome back buddy!
Second I am a paladin and 61.
Since now the concept of Dual-spec is gone, mainly because the overall stat requirements have been lowered, you can be much more effective without actually swapping gear. I think you can actually invest into all the three stats DEX, STR and INT. I would reccomend anyways to put enough STR to equip the bear gear and rest into INT IMHO.
If you have plat AND the Crown of persistance you should consider investing into a massive grinding to 61. That is because equipping COP and the new Shiled of Hollows grants a Bonus! The new campaign is going to roll out in the middle of November.
Joining a guild grants you a discount into golden and plat elixirs too

And at Nazgulking I think i will try and grind it out to 61 but i dont know if ill be able to make it there by mid November as im only 55, but we'll see. I got 1/3 exp to my next level just playing yesterday so if i can keep that up i might have a chance.

For the problem of not having enough time you have to use three things:

- 4X Elixirs
- An active guild whose members are willing to help your grinding process
- Grind the hell out of Haunted Symphony

haha well i didn't quit i just didn't have anything to play on. And ok im willing to get some elixers and play a ridiculous amount of time, but i do still need a guild so if anyone knows of a good active friendly high level guild i would love to join.

Here is the guild section of the forums Feel free to browse through there and see if there are any guilds you are interested in. Many guilds out there are pretty open and non-exclusive so just post on one of there threads and I'm sure you'll get in.
