No, no one who isn't a developer or works for STS knows. Everything you hear on the forums is speculation unless someone can prove undeniable and concrete evidence in the form of a screenshot, quote, reference, or otherwise from an STS staff member.

The only problem with that idea is that even if they do announce it prior to Christmas, once the announcement is out prices will tank. Selling prior to any Christmas announcements will net the most money I believe. Once mount fang comes out in a few weeks most will be focused on leveling again not twinking, thus making it harder to sell Christmas items yet again. The closer it gets to Christmas the lower i think prices will go as people try to hedge against loss of value in holiday items.
Look at the lvl 20 pink doll value as an example. What once was worth upwards of a million is now worth about 50k.

They posted on Facebook saying there should be all new items this year. However:
1) They can always change their minds.
2) We don't know the stats. So this years items may be superior.

I think they will. They have so far shown that they wanna keep a standard, but shake it up (like with halloween) same drops, different vanities. So raritie is there but not every single thing is rare. Just my two cents...
Probably some items will return like Halloween.
