Boss hp glitch

So I'm reading all these threads about the tainted weapons being bugged, or having inaccurate discriptions, but I just saw something that must make this all more confusing for devs looking into this.
Here's the deal, my pt just demolished voriana and then eleris (sp?) in the same way.
Meaning we took half their hp in a second.
"So what, we know ?"
Well there wasn't one tainted weapon, yet boss smashed in that same way.
I can see why LoJack said its hard to replicate.

Posible, but doesn't the tainted visibly proc? Thought I read that they added descriptions to effects on taint.
I never saw a proc, or any words above mobs other than charm and rotting flesh the whole run.
