engineer invasion at blackstar. spawn bug?

This weekend i was at blackstar and i'm not sure what happened, but this is what i have seen: an engineer invasion



Other players had seen it too, because they were commenting on it. It was just briefly and then they left all at once through the floor, again weird.
Luckely i was on time to make a screenshot.

this will happen when a whole load of engineers join then leave quickly then join agian. they keep joining and there character stays for a bit before sinking through the floor odd how they got so many up tho

I think Freocal is to blame for this (see top left of pic). I think it is some weird type of bug.

yep someone told me "like a hundred of him spawned at once and all of them sunk to the ground together it was scary", ofc I ddnt get what it looked like but now I see yeah

perhaps this is a spawn bug, but it has got to be about what corpser said.

After images of him coming and going. It just isn't noticed much unless it happens a lot, but if you look closely when somebody leaves their character stays there for a bit with no name then finally sinks in.

Likely he couldn't stay connected very well and kept dc-ing.
