Yes this is true, x-bows aka crossbows meant to have 12m or more range in compensation of some dps usually while longbow usually 10m. The only problem that occurred with bows (all 2h) is the skill damage lack than what it should be, since last few caps it started to get even less skill damage than 4 pc (talon set) I can explain why that happened and also I advocated to fix it for long but for now I'm excited to see that 2h got skill damage boost, I don't know how much and it's adequate or not.

Yes, this would be nice.
If the bow is to be nerfed, I suggest reducing the fire pool range to match that of a sword or axe's proc space so that more players do not stand on it.
I'm also happy you buffed the staff in pvp. I'm eager to test it out! It did lack quite a bit of skill dmg before today's update, so we'll see how much better the weapon has become. I've always been a staff fan.
