Pre-Hiatus Prep

I am probably going to be taking a bit of a break to focus on other interests and am considering liquidating any and all depreciable assets eg. order gems, set peices etc.
At current market prices I have aprox 10-15m in assets ,5m in gold and aprox 300 plat.
Upon returning one of two things happen:
A.) The value has plummeted due to obselence
2.) The value has skyrocketed due to something STS changed it whatever happened to the value of the Dragon Staff.
Obviously the latter is unlikely but a valid possibility nonetheless
Any advice and/or thoughts are appreciated.

My advice, dont quit, keep with the game, stay active, keep up to date with the market to minimalize losses, invest in items cheap now, that hopefully wont be rereleased later too make profit
Sell the stuff now that is dropping in value, like i sold my tainted set about a month ago for 9m, its dropped to almost 7m now
You just gotta know how to play the market

But if you HAVE to quit, sell all set items, keep drag staff (i have a feeling this will turn into the next ker shal scepter), sell jewels, keep vanities, you want to have as much raw gold as possible while keeping the value of collectible items (ig vanities and collector items) gold will likely maintain its value the best as expansions and events come and go
