    Default "The Hunger Games!"

Just the name of a book...

Anyway, I am hosting a contest just for fun! There are no prizes but there will be fun! This was made because of course it is the week of thanksgiving.
Well we should get started on what these are right?

This is for levels 61-66 only.
You create FFA Forest Fight matches and fight each other. Whichever team wins moves to the next round.

So get your turkey bones to fight with, the turkey for snacks, and get your friends to join as well as you! SPREAD THE WORD!!! A THANKSGIVING HUNGER GAMES!!!
There will be first round, semi final, and final.

We will need 4 games on first round! So 4x6 is 24. We will need 24 entries.
To enter, just post your IGN and level. After we got 24 people entered, I will pair people up in fair groups of 3. Then I will make fair matches. One person who was in the game must take a screenshot of the game points. After the first round is finished, 4 teams will be eliminated, 4 teams move on. In semi 2 teams are eliminated and 2 teams move on. Whichever team wins last final round gets the hunger games cup! (Which is nothing. Just fun and being the winner feeling.) Let's say this will have to be over by... when it's over!

ALSO PLEASE POST THE TIME ZONE OR THE COUNTRY YOU ARE IN SO I CAN KNOW WHAT OTHER PEOPLE TO PUT YOU WITH. (BECAUSE OF TIME DIFFERENCE)

START ENTERING NOW!!! FIRST ENTER, FIRST ENTERED.

    ENTERED:
Paaraseva Level 65, Time zone: America, Central Time
Onaraasider Level 61, Time zone: America, Eastern Time

    TEAMS:

    MATCHES:

    CURRENT ROUND: PEOPLE ENTERING

I read The Hunger Games and loved it. With school, I haven't been able to finish the series, but I assume it is awesome. (Only a few more months untill the movie!)

In Catching Fire, I love how it ends with "There is no district 12"
PS only people who have read will get it

The series is great. The author is Suzanna Collins, who also wrote the Underland Chronicles. It's another good series. However, this series is much more serious than the other. The Mockingjay is a great book in which the author kills off all the characters. She starts with the kind-of-small characters, to more important characters, to one of the main characters. Still, the whole series is an intriguing read, and I couldn't stop reading them once I started. I even re-read the series two or three times...?!

Anyways... yeah. Don't be hating on the Mockingjay.

Theyre a definite *must read* series. The thirds a little iffy, but the other 2 were just amazing! If you havent read the Hunger Games, drop everything and run to the library!!!

Hunger games was such a good book. So was catching fire. For those that are confused, here is the basic plotline:

There is a person called katniss everdeen, with a sister called prim. They live in district 12, the last one and one of the poorest, where the economy is based off of coal mining. When katniss was younger, her father died in a coal explosion. Her mother is a healer/nurse/doctor, and her sister is studying to be one.

74 years ago, the districts rebelled against the capital. The capital won, and entirely killed off district 13, or so people thought. In order to punish the districts for rebelling, the capital set up a death match called the hunger games. There would be a drawing to pick a boy and girl from every district that were 12-18, for a total of 24. Then these 24 would be set into an arena with many traps, monsters, poisonous stuff, man eating monkeys, etc. to fight to the death. Only the winner would be spared.

So what happens is that Katniss's sister, Prim, who was only 12, and had about a 0.1 percent chance of getting picked. Unable to bear the fact that her sister would die, Katniss stood up and volunteered to fight instead of Prim. The boy that was chosen is Peeta, who once saved Katniss by giving her bread when she was about to die from hunger.

Alright, getting lazy here. So in the end, Katniss and Peeta play act that they love eachother in order to make the capital think they are clueless, and also because the audience has voted that there should be two winners. So Katniss and Peeta survive to be the last 2, when the announcer says the rules have changed, and there can only be one winner. So Peeta and Katniss both pull out death berries, and are both going to eat them at the same time, when the announcer dude says that there can be two winners again. So they get airlifted out of the arena and live safely until book 2.

That is pretty much book 1, the Hunger Games. (I skipped the best part, which is when they are in the arena. It gets really bloody and violent.)

So yeah. Read this book! It's awesome!
