Cinco,
Thanks again for adding my bot countermeasure suggestion ( https://www.spacetimestudios.com/sho...d-farming-maps ) that I long advocated for to the event reward phase gold farming maps. I had suggested a challenge be presented to the player, if they failed they'd be dropped back into town, and that's exactly what you ended up doing, even though your team was concerned it would cause too much of an interruption to game play, you did end up adding it. Now I'd like to provide some simple feedback...
Do we really need two keymasters asking trivia questions twice per run? Isn't once enough? Please consider removing the second gate.
In the recent past you changed gold from automatically being looted into inventory to having to be manually picked up by each player as an effort to attempt to combat bots. Now that you have added your variation of my bot countermeasure suggestion, there is no need to have players pick up gold in the event reward phase gold maps. Doing both is overkill and definitely interrupts the flow of the game. I am sure most here would agree with this. I suggest doing one, or the other, but most definitely not doing both. Sticking with just the trivia question, asked once per run, with gold automatically being looted, seems like a satisfying solution for everyone.
Edit: I still maintain that entering a randomized 2-digit alpha-numeric code is 100% secure in comparison to 3 multiple choice click options, where they get a 1 in 3 chance of getting it right each time.
Thank you for this update and for listening to us. Looking forward to the CTF and Winterfest events.
