It is a bug, its when you friend someone who is offline.
The reason it is 17000 days ago is because the Unix timestamp started on 1970 January 1st with 32bit and this time stamp is for devices to keep control of time. This time stamp will end on January 19 2038 so a new time stamp for 64bit will start because the 32bit one will overflow causing it to be deleted.
AL uses the Unix TimeStamp for their game, reason it states 17k days is because when you friend a friend who is offline it will automatically set the date last played for 17k days or since the time stamp has been made.

As of right now the Unix timestamp has been running for 1.542 billion seconds.
