FYI: Free Equipment

I didn't see a place to post this, so here goes. If you are ever playing and would like some equipment for free, just hit me up for it. I'm usually in Alien Oasis or the sewer areas (I'm level 48, presently). Most of my equipment that I get, but cannot use is green, but I do have several purples and pinks. On the game, my ID is Bronxman, so if you see me playing and want some equipment, just let me know.

Also, if any of you are lower level, and need someone of my level to help you on campaigns, just let me know. I'll be more than happy to help you out.

You can try doing what I do. I typically will go around and give folks sub lvl 50 pinks that are a few levels above their current level to give them something to strive towards and equip the item. Try to give toons items that correspond to their builds. I figure it would save you the pain of getting spammed to death by folks asking for stuff, or feeling bad if you run out of items to give when someone asks. I never asked anyone for anything, but was given useful items by higher level toons a couple times when I first started, so the cycle for random acts of kindness continues and hopefully branches out to those I have touched as well.

I agree with this assessment. One person actually wanted to trade and offered me 10K gold. Instead I had her keep her gold and gave her the equipment for free. Note that I would do the same for a male player. This just happened to be a female player. It made her day (or night).

I'm new here, but I think that they key to success (or one key anyway) is people willing to help out other people. On my end, when a person wants to trade with me, I ask them what they want. They usually say money or GP, and I try to be generous here.

I do know from real-life experience that when you are generous, and you give without asking for something in return, you get much more than you ever would by giving with the intent of getting something back. To me, it works the same way on Pocket Legends.

1 year ago, i had 35k, i could buy any pinks in the auction. Now, after i came back after 1 year, i couldn't afford any archer weps. Who the heck is monopolising the auction? Luckily, players like you exists. Kudos.

No one person is "monopolising" the auction. There's just a lot more players liquifying items, leading to much more gold in-game. Which also leads to much higher prices in-game. And suddenly the end-level equipment is the gold cap, and anyone who didn't play often is wondering how in the heck did anyone get so much money?

... Anyway. Nice thing you're doing here... Lol. I don't have much spare things to hand out... And I've been playing near one year. 'Course all the items I have are pretty expensive.. So I guess that's where it all went. Enjoy AO3's glory as long as you can! Replay value only goes downhill from here! ;(

at least once a month I walk around different towns and hand out pinks to low lvls I run across.I don't want to be bothered by selling them most of the time and they're only worth a few k at most anyway. Many times I leave the map before they can even respond...it's fun dropping pinks on noobies!
