Intended or bug?

I've been told you're able to 1 shot event boss if you have low lvl account/friend to spawn boss for you then you join and just collect the goodies effortlessly. I did 1 test run and its legit. So I'm asking is this a bug or no? Because I didn't see sts say hey get a low lvl rogue to spawn boss for you then come and kill the boss with fists.
