Part of the issue is that a lot of guilds are looking for dedicated guildies, and from your first post, SL clearly comes behind PL for you. Some of the guilds don't have issue with that while others do. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, you'll more than likely need to get in game and get a feel for the various guilds or find one that has guilds in both games.
