i think that "loot table" is a set of (possible) items, correct?

But, this is what i don't understand:
(1) ONE mob has MANY loot tables
, OR,
(2) ONE mob has ONE loot table but different mobs has different loot tables?

which is correct - (1) or (2) ?

And, if the correct is (1), then: If reroll is chosen to be applied, then the reroll can get an item from all of the many loot tables for that mob, OR, only from the initial loot table form which was the initial item?

And, if the correct is (1), then: How is chosen the initial loot table from which to get the initial item? different loot tables from this "one mob" also have percentages (of possibility)? or loot tables are traversed consequently and tried(checked) if they will yield(drop) an item at all?
