Them do whatever they want, we never had a consistent equipment schedule, example: one expansion we get only set gear and mythic gear(and sometimes is useless) and next expansion is full of arcane gear by no reason.Originally Posted by Typeb

Why Mythic? There are a couple sets, and arcanes. Not enough?

Because they introduced a new rarity called spirit, which starts from epic stats and goes up to mythic stats after fully leveled up.
