Problem with winter festival quest elves

Hey guys im having problem completing the winter festival quest to free elves for the snow wing. I accepted the quest but when i click on elves to free them it doesnt count at all. What am i doing wrong?

any help? i tried resetting it, making another game, all, i click on the elf and it doesnt do anything.... argh

First trying abandoning Quest and get it again. If that fails. Take up the Quest again then talk to the Elf who gives you the Quest (lying on the ground) there's and option to Reset. Hope that helps!!

Finish the quest, go to forest haven then log out, log back in
that worked for me

Although all comment were helpful none answered his question but maybe the last one a little. The reason it doesn't free them is because you have to free the 10 different elves. It not like previous quest where it tells you kill a,b, and c and you can enter a game mid way and kill b and c then enter a other one and kill c and it will allow. This one you have to save all the different ones so it means you missed some in particular. Hope that helps and do what guy above me said,make a private game to do quest as rescuing elves doesn't use you ticket up (unless you take 4 hours which shouldn't happen).

I tried everything. Reset, abandon then go back in private password game. My other char got it first time without problems but with my mage when i click on the elf it doesnt give me the option to untie it, it just tells me to go to the next but it doesnt count.

In my 66 this quest will not let me collect elves been in threw my other account no problem this is def a bug

I've done this 4 times already. EVERY TIME, right after you accept the quest, you MUST reset the elves. Tap on Prancy again and tap on Reset Elves.

Even if this is a private game, even if others said they reset the elves already, if you have not done this, your elves will NOT count. Even if you just started and you just took the quest, your elves will not count. You MUST reset the elves.

Unless this update fixes it?

I think the bug occurs when you are doing the quest and like someone said people join your game (in the middle of you doing your quest) and go straight to the boss and finish the level. It happened to me once, I was all the way up to 9/10 Elfs, and it wouldn't count one Elf. I went one by one with a friend to no avail! So yeah if you encounter problems. Just simple "Reset the Elfs" by talk to the Quest giver!

Nope, this happens even when I host my own game. Even if it's a private game. Even if I've just started, just accepted the quest. I just figured you always have to reset the elves.
