Santa (or Happyholidayz, as he's called in PL) makes his appearances at random and goes from Towne to Towne. We do announce via Twitter/FaceBook when he's sighted, so it can get a little chaotic & crowded. If you can't find him in the crowd, just wave nearby! Politely asking people to let the poor man breathe may help, too.
