Ping problem

So i was trying out at chrome and it seems that my ping gone over 1k.
Why? O_O

Bad connection us most likely the case.

Maybe your computer is running too many programs in the background, thus making it slow and giving you a high ping.

Exactly why I quit pvp for awhile. But soon I will get a 4th gen itouch! That will be the day.

Ping is different on every device. Some are newer and more expensive and they can have higher ping than something older and cheaper.

Try to close some of the computer programs that run in the background.

I always have 300-500 but recently 450-750. Talk to other people and you will hear average pings of 50-150. That's ridiculous. I love it.

Yea. I've had a ping issue on chrome just now, never had done in the past.

What antivirus do you use? There's a known bug with the NOD ESET antivirus that causes crazy latency on websocket connections with some settings enabled.

Reset the connection and then check the Ping using the method.You can use Firefox browser....You can check the Ping of the Internet Connection easily...To check Local LAN Connection Ping by using the Following method
GO to start->run->cmd->Ping ip-address or you need to check Ping for website from your computer means you can reach here Whoisxy.com and do the Ping test for yahoo,Google etc...

The ping depends where you live, when im in malaysia sitting next to the wifi box i got like 300 and in holland i got maby like 90.

Hmm im from holland, playing on galaxy tab 2 and my ping is usually around 150 to 300. How can u get 90 when u play on us server from holland?

The faster the processor, the faster it can compute data, so theoretically, your ping would be lower.

I can show this on my iPad vs my iPhone 4S, both connected to the same internet. My iPad 2 has a more powerful processor as well as more resources, as a result, on average, my ping is about 100 lower than my iPhone.

iPad Ping: 50-300

iPhone Ping 150-500
