Global Chat in AL

I gotta admit, AL has gotten stale for me. I log in, check friend list, and log out. Hanging out in a guild castle, town, or someone's house, is pretty much all i'm limited to now, since i'm not not gonna level 76 levels just to farm or have active pvp. But the problem i'm bringing up today is: being stuck in a town, castle, or house, you can only communicate with the people in the room you are in, which severely limits meeting new people. Yes, there is guild chat, but what if your guild is dead? Same with pm's if your friends are offline. Can we finally have a global chat that all players can use to communicate with each other and meet new people wherever they are? Yes, it may get spammy with people selling stuff, but you always have the option to switching to a different old chat tab or possibly a two new global chats: General and Merchant. Thanks.

P.S. - Why house mail isn't free makes no sense at all, if i want to leave messages for people, it should be free and open. Communication is the bloodlife of online gaming now, restricting that is just shooting yourself in the foot.
