Valentine Wand (?)

I assume this might be a better discussion to post in than the General Discussion forums?

Well, I've seen on some post about something, it shows a photo of that thing (sorry for vague info, I forgot what thread/item was. Been surfing PL forums for a good two hours or more due to lacking ability to fall asleep :|) which the person was also equipped with a Valentine Rose Wand (it is/was a pink/legendary weapon).
I am just wondering information on this item. I assume this was bought with platinum during February of 2011? How can I find another/buy one? I've searched cs and haven't had any luck, and no one in game is much help. I don't see anyone who has it equipped so does it even exist now? It'd be interesting to own one I think.

Hope someone can help resolve my dilemma!

Yes the valentine Rose wand was a pink legendary sold for platinum during valentines, which was February. I think it was DOTD on Valentines Day. I don't think you can buy in cs because it was made a plat item.
I do occasionally see people wearing it, so it still exists, but if you really want it, you can wait until valentines this year and get it with platinum.

Wasn't a deal of the day. It exists, I have one:-) It's untradable however, so you can't get it unless devs bring I back again this Valentines day, which they said they have but they may have very well changed their minds.

I'm sure this February it will come again sometime around. Like a few a days before valentine's day and a week after that. There will be another opportunity to grab this item with plat -- maybe through special dungeons you have get access to with plat.

I can also almost guarantee that it will 3-5 times more expensive than it was last year.

As my man Moog said up top, It'll cost a lot of plat. So get ready to spend about 20-30 bucks on an item...

Yes. These are expensive items. That is why I didn't get one.

They weren't expensive at the time.

In fact, the most expensive thing at the time was a name change which was 50 plat.

I just think that the new wand rose, if it does come out, will be designed a little bit different. Old players that received the valentine wand later want it to remain impossible to gain again... there way of symbolizing how they've been an oldie to this game. It will be similar but not the exact the same.

I don't know about that, all the winter DOTD items weren't altered in the least, including the snowman helm.

Well they consisted of different stats if I'm not wrong? And their was a couple minor differences...

I'm also thinking of the halloween pumpkin vanity from last year. Instead of lighting up like a green lanter inside, last years was a flames in the pumpkin. Check necroreapers page if you wanna take a look at it.

yes, the pumpkin helm was different than '10, but not the WF items. Pretty sure I'm right bout WF items that were brought back as DOTD being exact same because there were several threads asking devs to please make a slight alteration. If devs implemented post-sale, i don't know but 99% positive stats and looks are same with snowman helm etc.

Okay so maybe you're right, I'm just giving a heads up on the wand. We don't know yet.

Just saw your post; thanks for the photos! Sure wish I would have got these when they were up for sale. Hope they don't change it like what others in this thread are saying.
